Introducing SNAP: A Universal Clipboard Vault

We built SNAP because clipboard history should just work — across every device, encrypted, searchable, and always there when you need it.

We've all been there. You copy something on your Mac, then switch to your PC and realise it's gone. Or you paste something from three hours ago, only to find your clipboard history only goes back 30 items.

SNAP fixes this.

What SNAP does

SNAP is a clipboard manager that runs silently in the background, saves everything you copy, and syncs it across every device you own — encrypted end-to-end.

  • Unlimited local history — every item you copy is saved, automatically
  • Cross-device sync — copy on your laptop, paste on your phone (Pro)
  • End-to-end encryption — your clipboard is encrypted on-device; we store ciphertext, not plaintext
  • Instant search — find anything you've ever copied in milliseconds
  • Team snippet library — share snippets with your team, encrypted (Team tier)

Why end-to-end encryption matters

Most clipboard apps sync your data to a server in plaintext, or with server-side encryption where the provider holds the keys. We think that's wrong.

With SNAP, your clipboard is encrypted on your device using AES-256-GCM before it ever leaves your machine. The key is derived from your password using PBKDF2 (600,000 iterations). Not even we can read your clipboard.

Available today

SNAP is available for macOS, Windows, and Android. The iOS version is in development.

  • Free tier: unlimited local history, single device, no account required
  • Pro ($5/mo): cross-device sync, up to 5 devices, unlimited history
  • Pro+AI ($9/mo): everything in Pro, plus OCR and AI actions
  • Team ($15/seat/mo): shared snippet library, admin controls
